Newbie x 2

Hi All

My name is Brian and I live in Fremont, MI. I just picked up my first 4X4 PU a couple of months ago and an anxious to find some "old man" type trails to have some fun!

My truck is an '06 GMC Sierra Z71 Off Road Package P/U. I am interested in possibly doing some off trail camping too.

If anyone can point me in the right direction to get information on where to ride, I would appreciate it.

Brian

Welcome.

I dont know where you are in Fremont but if you head north to M20 there is a trail head for dirt bikes and quads. Its between Wisner and Gordon. Of course you cannot go on those trails but just east of it on M20 is a dirt road that goes north that will get you out into a decent network of forest service roads that you can take up to Baldwin.
Plenty of camp sites out on those trails once you get north a ways.

Get yourself a MVUM for the Forest Service roads.

Thanks! I did visit the forest service site tonight and found many trails that I could use. Had I done a little homework, I wouldn't have needed to ask the question! LOL Thanks for the welcome and maybe we will cross paths when I drive through Twin Lake!
