Smile Probable new family member. Meet Bella (pictures and story)

So the wife and I had decided to take on another pooch. I found Bella on petfinder.com and really liked her look. (which is funny cuz I have never been a big fan of the breed.) not that I thought they were evil or anything they are just not my preference in appearance.
meet Bella:

We got in touch with Bruised but not broken canine rescue (Grand Blanc) to inquire about her. Phil brought her to us, to meet our dogs and family in our home. Phil is an awesome guy that has a great knowledge of, and a real love for animals and wants to help them.

Phil brought her out three or four weekends and spent an hour or two each weekend just hanging out watching and correcting behaviors. we were having trouble with my Tavish and Bella getting along but we kept working on them.

So two weeks ago tomorrow I went to pick her up and bring her home for what will hopefully be the last time!

Tavish is a dominant girl that has always run the canine world in our home. Bella has given submission to her but Tavish still feels the need to enforce her dominance on occasion. Bella submits but will also defend herself if threatened!! We have had a couple small issues and couple larger ones, but we all seem to be learning what is expected of us and how to behave!
this is Tavish joining Bella on the couch she does not look thrilled but tolerant:

Bella getting a car ride:

This dog likes to play So much!:

She snore like a freight train too!:

Bella is number 3 all female!

Sasha is my other girl, they don't pay each other much mind but they have almost played a couple times. They have growled at one another for a toy or treat, but that get nipped in the bud FAST!

Sasha is the first dog I ever had, and she is completely blind. Sasha will always have a very special place in my heart, so being blind I do not feel she should have to defend or protect herself. but also she can not be aggressive either.

this is my Sasha with her thundershirt on because of the fireworks:

this is Sasha before losing her last eye:

and this is Sasha's creep all you guys out look:

Thanks and I am completely expecting them as well.
Bella is such a good dog! she loves to play and just be near people! She is very loveable and friendly, we are working on her with jumping on people as I hate that, but she is a very good learner. She used to devour her food very fast, so I fed her by hand for two days and she realized she can actually take her time and chew her food and nobody is going to take it. so she learns quickly. she is getting better on the leash to, she can pull very hard, she is learning not to do that also.

She's a beautiful girl, glad to see another Pit Bull going to a good home. We've rescued a few, fostered a few, and help a local rescue when possible, these are my two, the fawn colored is my male Bam, the black is my female Pinky! How old do you think Bella is?

They think she is probably around 4-5. I think maybe 3-4 as she has lots of play in her! she is hilarious, she chews on a toys and falls off the couch thumping to the floor and never stops playing with her toy. she does some funny stuff due to the missing leg. it is a lot of fun watching her!

I normally don't like pit bulls but I will say you've got a big heart for taking this one on.

I would have to agree with you on pitbull's not being my favorite breed, but with that said - congrats on what looks to be another loving family member. Rescuing is the way to go. I did that with a blind Pug and she turned out to be the best and most loving dog I have ever had!

Beautiful dog!! I don't give 2 shits what breed it is, a good dog is a good dog, and I've known some great pitbulls. How's she get around as a tripod? Hopefully her and the current boss will get along well moving forward

Her leg missing is thought to be a birth defect so as far as everyone know she has no clue she is missing something. And she acts that way! She runs like crazy and has decent speed for missing a leg. To her and her attitude the missing leg is a non issue. I was resting my fat head on her tonight for a bit and she never even thought twice about me laying there.
