I spent several years with a Seventh Day Adventist. They are just as Christian as any other denomination of Christianity.

The do not:
Celebrate Easter
Eat pork or any other food considered to be unclean
Drink alcohol (some do, it is discouraged though)
Smoke (same as alcohol)
Do very much on the Sabbath.

Vegetarianism is very popular amongst them. Health is a major part of their life.
If you like breakfast cereal, you can thank a SDA. Kellogg was SDA.
And we celebrated Christmas no different than most other people.

There is one fundamental concept in Christianity. There is only one way to be saved and to go to heaven and that is through the sacrifice of Christ for your sins. No good deed by you or a family member is going to influence your final resting place. Everyone has sin which can only be erased one way. You either accept that Christ died for your sins or you don't.

Does this fit the 7th Day Adventist beliefs?
