Good progress. The tub is stripped and ready for blast. Corner guards & rockers prefit and stretch wheel wells are cut out. KB8YMF came over tonight & we dropped the tub on the chassis just to make sure everything clears.

I bled the air out of all my shocks so I could drop it down close to the floor. Turns out my mishap at KOH bent my left rear shock and it won't collapse without jumping on it. When we raised it on the hoist, it wouldn't extend. So, looks like I need to buy a new shock.

Are you going to epoxy the tub?

I would if you are going as far to get it blasted.

Before you go out and buy a new shock, blow it up with air or n2 to see if you can extend it back out and then replace the shaft. Mucho cheaper.

Single stage paint.

John, we never noticed it but there is a kink in the tube where it hit the frame. I've always thought that a spare shock would be nice to have. As we both know, the shock is still functional so I think it's going to be retired as the spare.

A little off topic what hoist do you have? Looks like your garage ceiling isn't that tall either?

Been chugging along with the project.

Body is totally ready for blast. (no pic required)

New Genright fenders.

Although I would love to do new rocker guards, time and budget doesn't allow it. So, I had to modify the old ones to mate up to the Genright fenders.

I finished up the new upper links and picked up a set of the billet seat sliders for the new seats.

You guys are all mean. I think everything he has done is awesome and when I'm 70, I want to be like him.

Can I come over and have you fill my shocks? :)

Jim is going to fill more than you shocks, if you keep comparing him to a 70 year old
