Definitely not mormons, There really isn't a whole lot different about them from people that go to church on sundays. My mothers family is seventh day adventist, they believe that saturday is the sabbath since it is ACTUALLY the last day of the week. They don't eat pork, that's the most notable thing I can think of that is weird.

Not Mormons. Most religions believe Sabbath was Saturday. Look at the calendar Saturday is the last day of the week. But
Most observe Sunday, because of Grace, Seventh Day believe still under Gods law.

I type to slow. Most of my friends are vegetarians so I forgot about the pork. But there is something different about Jesus and Easter. I can't remember this morning. I use to go to Seventh Day Church with my friends. But I didn't fit. I then went to Wesleyan Church with some other friends.

All I know about them is that I had some I knew in college that was a older then me became one during his last year of college. He went from being a pretty big partier (from what I was told- he became one during my first year) to a pretty devout 7th Day Adventist. All he posts on facebook are things about god and the bible.

I know that they (the ones I know) don't celebrate Easter or Christmas in the same manner that we do. I also want to say they don't celebrate Halloween. It seems to me that they try and adhear to alot of the OT laws and interpret God's grace through Jesus Christ a bit different when it comes to the OT law.

I could never take part in such behavior.

Good explanation.

but on the other hand, Seventh day Adventist are pretty nice people and they don't throw their religion in your face like most other Christianity based religions. Just like Jehovah's Witnesses; those have to be some of the best tempered religious people i've ever seen

I made up my mind whether it is a cult or not. You can't deny an honest, church going men the simple pleasure of biting into this:

If you ask yourself WWJD, I am pretty sure if He had a strip of bacon and bread instead of fish and bread, he would multiply that bacon.

BTW, just because he observes Sabbath on Saturday, does not make him a Seventh Day Adventist, he might as well be a fellow Jew.

Or Baptist or Catholic, yep a lot of different religions hold services on Saturday.
Seventh Day isn't a cult. Just a different take on the Bible, believes.

Just because there is a service on Saturday does not mean it is a Holy Day or Sabbath. There are services every day of the week in some churches.

My point was just because he went to Church on Saturday didn't make him Seventh Day. And yes there is Baptist that only hold services on Saturday because its the Sabbath. The Catholic's here just have services on Saturday.

The Achatz Pie Company people are Seventh Day. Their pie is awesome so they are cool with me, except they are closed on Saturdays.
