Default Texting and driving

Does everybody do it? Holy fukc it's crazy. Every other car the driver is holding his her phone and trying to drive and text. I like the steering wheel texters the best. I don't get it. Is it that fukcing hard to stay off your phone while operating a motor vehicle? Driving behind people swerving and blowing rocks and shit up just because they are on their damn phone. All the accidents that happen because some idiot wasn't paying attention. I don't get how people are that attatched to a phone. Get off Facebook and twitter and all that other shit, your driving... NOBODY GIVES A FUKC. I'm sick of it. STAY OFF YOUR DAMN PHONE WHILE YOU DRIVE.

I don't text when driving. I heard it's dangerous. So I use e-mail instead.

I am guilty of this when I am on long road trips. Seems everyone in the car falls asleep on me so I start surfing the web.

I don't typically text and drive much though. I do like to get real close to the window of a texter and blow my horn. Espescially when it is really obvious.

I will say that most people that text and drive that can't do both at the same time, usually can't drive worth a shit to begin with.

they've proven that texting and driving kills more people than drunk driving.

I passed a semi truck on Interstate 80 a couple weekends ago that was weaving to the shoulder and back as I was coming up along side him. I looked to see him texting on a smart phone.

They passed a law about this in Nevada right before I moved back here. Cops could pull you over just for this instead of having another reason first. I wish they would outlaw it and talking on the phone without a hands free device here.
Like kickstand, when someone is driving slow as shit and i see them yacking on the phone i pull up next to them and lay on the horn.
In my old S10 i used to ride the dotted line next to texters hoping they would sideswipe me so I could get an F150.

I like to see how close I can get to people when they are texting. Almost had mirrors touching once, fun to watch them freak out when you are that close to them

I'll be honest, I do text while driving; in my defense though i don't look at my phone when typing the text. I use the t-9 trace thing so it guesses what i'm trying to type, gets pretty funny

I used to do this when I was younger. Now I at least wait until I am stopped at a red light.

even at a red light you should be checking your mirrors and not texting to see that other a-hole that is about to rear end you because he or she is texting

x2

Occasionally I watch funny you tube videos while in heavy highway traffic to kill time as well.

I'm guilty of texting while driving too, but try and do it while stopped also, or when there's no traffic around. I definitely try and keep it to a miminum, don't really even have to look at my phone to do it, and get pissed at the idiots who suck at driving while doing it.

I have a co-worker that reads books while he drives. Darwin award winner, some day.

It seems like the auto manufacturers could install something to block the signal while the car is in gear? I realize that would probably eliminate phone conversations while driving too, but we all managed to survive driving without cell phones before everybody above age 5 had one.
