I used to heat with propane, I had more than a few shady bills from trigas and one other company.

I was on the "always full"" plan at trigas for a while, ran out of propane while out of town for a month and had called the day before I left to let them know I was between 5% and 10%. They filled it and locked it a week later because I had dropped below 5%. I came home to a frozen house and a note explaining that I needed the $100 pressure check. Never received a phone ccall. Trigas refused to do the pressure check for free and fix all the frozen junk in the house.

2 lawyer letters later they picked up the full tank for free and i started with Stevens propane, excellent customer service! Those people were an absolute joy to deal with!

When the tank gets low they seem all to eager to take advantage of the situation.

I have consumers natural gas now, seems good so far.

You should have called sooner! Sounds like an over reaction.

Never have that problem, but we own our tanks. The tank by the garage is empty at the moment. I'll remove the line from it before I fill it to make sure the don't pull that shit with me. Its a soft line anyways.

Well my wife went to buy a tank today, they said they would not have one available until this coming Monday.

Wow this will make for cold nuts in the morning shower.

I don't know if you can afford it but My brother and parents switch to a Geothermal Heating Systems. If I remember right it was only about 3 or four year to break even and then the saving started. The only tank they have is for the stove now.

a company did this to a buddy of mine when he purchased a house. he payed to fill the tank to 15% for the inspection then they shut it off and locked it when he closed on the place and wanted a bunch of money for more inspections or to blead it off and haul it out of there. he unhooked it and rolled it out by the road and told them they could come pick it up because he was going with a different company. i think it took 6 weeks for the tank to get picked up.

What a fucking fiasco,

I am not going to get a tank until Monday now.

I am going to go get a fitting to hook my hundred pound torch tank to my copper line going tot he regulator on the outside of the house, I will use the toarch regulator to bring it down to three lbs, so the regulator on the house can bring it down to 11" W.C.

Washing up before work this morning was painful. 56 degree water on your warm nuts is enough to kill a man.

Why are you still here then? Are you implying you have no nuts?
