I'm sure I can send you a couple fresh carolina reaper pods when they get ready. Those are the hottest in the world. A really good habanero is around 400,000 scovilles and these are around 1,500,000. If they turn out good enough I was thinking about doing a YouTube gl4x4 hot pepper challenge. Send them out to a few brave people but you need to post a video of you eating.

Looks like it would be third on this list:

you are failing already at being the awesomestest!

That is incorrect. The scorpions were the winner last year after they grew their full 8 seasons to prove that they are a stable breed. They are 1,4xx,xxx. The douglahs have been rumored to be the hottest feeling pepper ever grown but they are not proven. The reapers expedited the results through Guinness this year after they got their full 8 seasons of growth. You need to find better sources.

This.

I enjoy running and have run a handful of marathons but never actually trained for one until the training I am doing right now for the Marine Corps Marathon in October.

I'm not trying to win the damn thing but I am trying to be awesome in my eyes by blowing my personal best out of the water. Previously my best for a marathon is 3 hours 55 minutes (and change) and I am shooting for under 3 hours and 30 minutes this time around; 25 minutes may not sound like much, but it's a huge improvement.

I am not awesome at anything....never have been and probably never will be. I can do most anything in a efficient manner but i don't have anything that i truly excel at and i am ok with that.

Ok I agree I am not the most awesomest at research!
But you gotta show me some awesomness, I had never heard of the Carolina reaper so I looked, I can't find any reference to it being the hottest pepper unless I search that name alone. Guinness still has the Trinidad scorpion butch T listed as record holder on their site at 1.4m SHU from 2011. http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/...hottest-chili#

I read about the Moruga Scorpion on a number of different sites being above 2 million SHU

No wonder you always lose. You keep manscaping and there won't be anything left.
