Arrow 2000 Ford Excursion 7.3 Diesel $4,250 *SOLD*

Price drop. I will be trading this in on Monday 4-28-14.

4wd is currently NOT working. I dropped the price to see if anyone wants to buy it as is before I have time to have it repaired. I put a new tcase shift motor and it was making a binding noise on tight turns in 4wd.

2000 Ford Excursion Limited
280,000 and climbing, I drive 60+ miles everyday.
7.3L Powerstroke Diesel
4x4
285 BFG All terrains about a 2 yrs old. OE wheels were PVD Chromed.
New within the past year: front and rear pads and rotors, Tcase encoder motor, Skyjacker Nitro shocks.

Valve covers are leaking oil down the backside of the motor.
Rockers are rusted
There is a hole in one of the rear fiberglass doors.

This trucks runs great and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. I just drove to Nashville and got over 19 mpg, not towing and driving less than 70 mph.

This is not s show truck, it has 13 years of use. The outside has several spots where the paint is peeling and surface rust is starting. The interior is okay but weathered. I have 3 kids and the guy who owned it before me has 5 kids, so it has seen its fair share of spills and accidents.

I will post some interior pics by this weekend.

$4,250.00 firm. 248-259-9584

The oil pan is not leaking. The valve covers are leaking in the rear of the engine down the backside of the block and on the bell housing.

It is Limited trim package.

Excursions were Limited. I had one. The Eddie Bauer deal died and Ford went Limited on SUVs and Lariat on Trucks...for the most part other than say a King Ranch. Those were the tan color packages and they did some other naming for the black leather packages. I think I remember selling Limited with Black interior on a few SUVs though. So the Limited logic might have had a wider breadth than I remember.
But definitely not Eddie Bauer on these.

Dripping. Here are some pics of the pan. The front of the pan is rusty and dry. The rear of the pan is not as rusty and wet. It may actually be coming from somewhere higher than the oil pan and running down not sure.
* edit- definitely coming from the valve covers, down the back of the engine block.

No injectors to my knowledge. I have replaced front and rear pads and rotors, new shocks, tires, tcase encoder motor, warn locking hubs, serp belt, tre at pitman arm, oil change and tire rotation every 5k, and fuel filter every 10k.
