Default Motorcycle fuel valve pranking

I know its nothing new, but lately I've been getting people (friends and people at work) trying to be funny and shutting off my fuel valve hoping I don't check it before I head off.

I've thought about raping the prankster, but I haven't been around to figure out who does it.

Easy question: What's a good counter-prank I can use on or around my fuel valve to fukc with people attempting to shut it off? Little bit of grease? Some real nasty ink? HIV positive needles taped near it?

Too bad its part of the fuel system cause it would be funny as hell to hook like a cattle fence system on to it and shock them. I would go with something like an ink that takes a few days to get off and that way the funny guy will be branded.

I'd be pissed if someone did that to me, get out on a busy road to have my bike shut down 1/4 mile down the road. Seems kinda dangerous.

Get some clothes dye powder and out it on the back of the valve (out of sight). In hot weather the dye will dissolve on sweaty fingers and you can spot your prankster. Another thing that works is the colorants they use in paint (Purple or red stain the most).

Ink will probably dry up before the perp gets to it. the powder might work. What about black shoe polish on the valve, the paste type like Kiwi.

^^ this.
Maybe order up some prussian blue like they use for machine scraping. I've heard it's near impossible to wash off. Once you find the person with the blue fingers I'd proceed to kick them in the nuts.

My bike at least sputters long enough I can reach down and flip it before it stalls...

That said I would avoid the ink, only because when YOU go to flip it back on the joke will be on you too.

I have always shut my fuel valve when I was done riding for a while so as not to have it leak or if my carb stuck, drain out the overflow.

Try some Prussian Blu, also known as engineers paste. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Engineer%27s_blue

Then wait

Setup a trail cam somewhere close to where you park. Figure out who it is after looking at pictures. Take a shit in his peanut butter sandwich.

Anti-seize, as a bonus its color is light enough that you usually touch a couple things before you realize it's on your hands. Just don't forget before you check the switch yourself.

Call in to work one day, tell them you need several days off to recuperate from your motorcycle accident. Tell them it had something to do with your fuel-shut off valve.

When the rumors circulate, have a trusted co worker observing and help figure out the asshat who is guilty.

When you figure it out, help him have an accident that will require several days off.

Yes, this would be great. Make sure you limp when you get back also.
