First, I think someone needs to trade him for some punctuation.

But wait, what I don't understand is that if they were test driving each others vehicles, he should have his vehicle.

My thought also..........and then some.

The complainer sounds fake. Where'd he get the mug shot? Sounds fishy..........just reply to the posting and find out how fast you get a scam attempt.

Sadly enough the guy is for real, the thief that is I'm not sure about the poster. He was from Bangor mi about 20 miles west of kzoo.

Local news article, http://www.woodtv.com/dpp/news/local...ill-be-in-Mich which is where the mugshot came from. Story up here is from October 2012 though.

Sounds like he needed a change of vehicles so the cops did not have one to target for picking him up.

I always wondered why more people don't do this. You could show up at a house, ask them to start up the engine, and just jump in the drivers seat and take it. There are all sorts of nice cars for sale on craigslist, and I'm surprised this isn't a daily occurrence.

A guy was doing pretty much the same thing around here about 30 years ago with Toyota mini trucks. He would answer an add in the paper, show up for a test drive and leave the last truck he had stolen behind. Every week or so he would drive off with another one.

Because one personality trait that almost all thieves have is being a coward.
