There are several brands to tank sealers out there I have used kreem brand with good luck. I've never used it to fix pin holes but have heard of plenty who have. It's worked for me on leaky seams and rusty tanks on a couple or vintage hondas.

I have a bottle of kreem already. I was going to try and spot weld them first. The holes appeared while I had the tank full of vinegar so I'm not afraid of any residual gas.

I have brazed quite a few gas tanks. If you want to go that route I can give you some instructions. If I was home I would say bring it over and I would fix it for you but that won't be for a few more months.

I have a 110v welder, I don't have an oxy acetylene setup.

If for some reason you don't have it done by this winter I will fix it up for you. I have fixed tanks that were waaaaay worse than that.

Appriciated. But if I still have it this winter I better have either put some miles on it or its just a pile of what wouldn't burn in my back yard.

i'd have it tig welded, only cause I have a buddy that's good at it lol. from the looks of it, brazed might be a better option.

Tig welding pin holes on a gas tanks sucks ass. If you tig them a2 bronze rod is the best option. It is basically brazing rod meant for welding. You don't need the heat to make it melt that you would with standard er70s. Second choice for me would be 316 ss rod which will actually fill dirty holes better than er70s. I always back purge tanks with argon so I don't blow myself up also. The one time I didnt backpurge the tank had been sitting empty on a shelf for a long time with no cap on it. It flamed up and burned my neck hair. After that I have always purged.
