I know that just looking for the swap that isn't gonna cost an arm and a leg that will benefit me in the performance area the most. I know its a give or take kind of thing I will be going with a happy medium

Just like your motor swap .........or an intelligent, non-coming off like a lazy ass that wants everything handed to him on a platter, question.

I don't see it that way. He's young, unsure, doesn't fully understand it and needs to hear it more than one way to help understand. Kinda like me with MAP, MAF, crank sensors, ECM, O2 sensors, etc. I know what they are but don't have a fucking clue what to do with them. Some people are better at research than others. The other problem is if you don't know what to ask, it's awful hard to search it.

People say search for it on Pirate. I find Pirate a very hard place to do research with people who are more rude than here..... there is so much info there it can take hours to sort stuff out. That's why gl4x4 is nice, it's a closer community and people can help out........... if they are willing.

You could give him the winning lottery numbers for tomorrow and he'd start 2 more threads asking if he should buy the ticket and where the cheapest place to buy it is..........

Get a 1970 SF code Buick 455 out of an Electra 225. Throw some aluminum heads on it and it will weigh the same as a sbc. 375 hp 510 ft lbs of torque. Throw a bop th350 behind it and a ford 205. Done deal!

If your worried about torque with a 3800, get a supercharged one for a gtp or something and gear the shit out of the axles...bounce it off the rev limiter. At least it will sound cool with the whine and all...

I think he stated that he wanted low end torque and roots style superchargers don't make torque

What you should do is park the jeep in a sketchy area and walk away and wait for the phone call from the cops telling you they found your frame.
