I decided that I wanted to add some Aluminum Diamond Plate to the side wings of the trailer, that will line up with the fenders when they are finished.
So I need a little more cash............

I'm subsidizing my toy fund, (taking a litte break from the trailer) by building these:

Here are a few more pictures showing the side wings/extentions that I want to put Aluminum Diamond plate on.
You can also see the the cut-outs for the new tail light locations.

Oh, I forgot to add, .........I picked up a Warn Winch, and I will be building a receiver onto the trailer, to accept winch mount. It will be a nice addition to the trailer.

Wiring is expensive,............I happened to have a friend in the right place. So I was able to purchase some 8 stand coax pretty reasonable.

I've been pulling this thing around for a couple years now, finding its good points and bad.

Bad;
  1. Trailer Tires Suck!!! So I'm going with E rated Truck tires.
  2. The light weight decking worked great until the scrap metal claw grabbed a hold of it and crushed it.
  3. Wheel bearings need to be packed every year or they can and will catch on fire(do not rely on a friend who borrowed the trailer to do so even if they told you that they did)
  4. Factory stamped fenders suck in every way possible when dealing with oversized rigs.
  5. Never got around to making hinged ramps.
  6. license plate mount in bad location, (its now all bent up)
Good;
  1. One of the nicest pulling trailers behind my superduty(I like the 60/40 setup)
  2. Light weight and very strong
  3. The low height allows for easy loading
  4. Can haul a low ride car, sedan, off-roader, garden tract, lawn-mower, superduty.........
  5. can virtually hook your strap just about anywhere.
So,...............time for some new mods.
  1. New decking along tire route. (done)
  2. hinged ramp/ramps
  3. drive over fenders
  4. new license plate mount
  5. more lighting
  6. tool box/storage
  7. winch

Had to add more tire ramp tonight to prepare for the drive over fenders. It was a little narrow before anyway, and the extra width just makes sure that the tires stay on the ramp, no matter what the width.
