I am guessing you know that it is not painted. For people that think it is, it's not. This has been professionally dipped in Multicam film. To do the entire gun and mags cost roughly $350 + shipping both ways.

I like black rifles too but I don't always want what everyone else has.

If it were Cerakote it would be worth it... This isn't exactly a durable finish. It might as well be Krylon.

These are nice rifles though. Good luck with the sale!

I would disagree and you must not have a weapon that is dipped. I haven't had one issue with it. Cerakote will chip around sharp corners. I have had multiple barrels done it seems like the crown always chips. Just like it does around free float handguards. Bow manufactures have been dipping for quite sometime with great results.

Just look up "multicam dip durability" on google and you will see it holds up very well.

Did you use the H-Series or something else from Cerakote?

You can take a flathead screw driver to real (baked on) Cerakote and it won't come off. Hell you can let it soak in muratic acid for a few hours and it might as well be sitting in water.

You can't even compare hydro-dipping to Cerakote H-Series. That's like comparing a vinyl decal to armor.

**Edit: Sorry about shitting on your thread. I'm gonna back out now and let ya get on with it. Just didn't want anyone to be mislead about the durability comparisons between the two products.**

I am not saying that it is as strong as cerakote but you cant say that being dipped is crap. It's 10 times better than spray paint. I know you a cerakote fan because your M99 was done in OD but I don't think it's great around sharp corners. I don't know what kind my guys uses but it is done professionally.
