Default Ferguson TO-20 - Sold

Sold

I took this on a trade, and would like to get some cash back out of it. It is a late 40's/early 50's tractor. These were before the Ford 8/9n came out. As well as before the company merged with Massey and became the popular Massey Ferguson.

Tractor has 3 point and rear PTO. Hydraulics work. It runs but could use a tune up. Sounds like there may be a miss happening. All tires hold air. Rear has some weather checking, unsure on fronts. Carb could also probably be regasketed. If you do not shut the fuel off at the sight bowl, there will be wet spot under the carb. It has a locking rear diff. 4 speed with reverse. Lights do not work.

Tractor is not much to look at, but it does what it was intended for. I put a new battery in probably around January some time.

1300 obo.

Nice tractor. I spent many hours in my youth driving gramp's "Fergy", brings back some memories.

How can it be before the Ford 9n came out ? The 9n came out in 1939 and the 8n shortly after in the mid 1940's .

By the way very nice tractor and GLWS .

Well, I guess I don't have an answer for that. From what I found on the ole' internet, this was the tractor that those others were designed like. I don't know what year they were actually introduced, but if I remember correctly it was said to have been before those others. Sorry if my information was incorrect. However, the tractor is still for sale.
