I have looked on line, and it seems whichever one someone buys, they are happy with it.

I have sat on both, and don't seem to notice a big difference.

Anyone here have either one of these? What made you purchase one over the other?

Oh yeah, what is a good helmet? I hate to buy one at the bike shop because it is the one that fits. (I am finding somewhat limited selection on small helmets.)

Thanks. I picked up a Yamaha VStar on Saturday. It is used and I somehow managed to drive it about 65 miles home without killing myself or anyone else. I definitely need practice. It sure felt great to ride again after so many years!

Bought it from my buddy, 2003 GSXR 600, 13,000 miles

Bought and installed a new wind screen

I installed new smoke front flush turn signals today and also have new grips and bar ends on order. After I install that stuff it'll stay that way until this winter when I do the 04-05 tail swap and repaint it a bright white.

Thanks. I liked it too, but I bought it with the intention of fixing and flipping, so it went down the road yesterday. On the plus side, I made almost a grand on the deal. :)

Onto the next project.

That was an fzr. I chopped the tail, added a ducati tail light, tire and a clutch, and sold it for $400 more than I paid for it, after I rode it for a year.

This is a cbr. It will be reassembled.

It works great, although the way the frame tubes curve under the engine on this one it rocks back when locking down the pegs, that's why it's sitting all wheelie mode. My previous bike sat level. Not an issue for me, but with a lower vehicle it could be.

Do you double it as a MC lift for working on it? Seems as though it would be great for changing tires, chain, sprockets, etc.

Has anyone experienced a track day? I'm interested in one but not sure where to look.

Got the gauges hooked up to the carbs to sync them in them morning, would do it now, but don't think my neighbor that loves 6 feet from me, or the ones that live 20, 25, and 30 feet away would like it, although they all have been lighting off fireworks from 9am to 3am.

Just bought a '78 Honda Twinstar 185. Needs a lot of work. Not running, missing pieces and bolts. If the speedo cable isn't broken, and the odometer works, it only has 1600 miles (i'm guessing it is broken). I just wanted something I can ride back and forth to work instead of driving my truck.

You'd be surprised at how many bikes have that few miles.
