I need some opinions. I have rear bumper, skid plate and rear corner guards that need to be installed. I still need rocker guards, front fenders, front bumper and winch. I am no HCH, but I have a little more $ than time these days (not much, but a little) so am considering purchasing these items so I can be bad ass on the trail real soon.

Rocker Guards: Considering boat siding, possibly purchasing, maybe building. I might just do some simple rocker gurads. Opinions on what to do and where to purchase?

Front Fenders: I think I want to go High Line. Going to stick with stock axles, 35 - 36" ish tires. I have about 2.5" lift springs and I dont want to lengthen the bump stops. Do I need to go High Line? Opinions? Where to purchase?

Front Bumper. Prolly just going to make an old fashioned 2x4 with welded on winch plate and recovery points. Maybe buy one, IDK.

Winch: What is the hotness these days? Well, what is the best bang for the buck? I am an incredibly talented four wheel driver and rarely get stuck.

Fuel Cell: Should I just go two seater with stock tank strapped in the back or get a RCI fuel cell for behind the seat? I dont have any friends, so I am considering the stock tank. Any opinions or can you recomend any friends in my area to use the back seat?

I would think it would suck to lose all of your cargo space by putting a gas tank where the back seat goes. I'd just buy a decent skid plate for the stocker unless you planning on a stretch. Boatsides look cool when done right too but I has zero speariances.

I rode shotgun when you had a passenger in the back. He was giggling like a school girl texting her BFF and so were we. Lol!

I have 2.5" of lift on 35" Kevlars. If you are interested I can show you pics of it with full fenders and flares, and with the new Rokmen highlines installed.

Rokmen's kit is really nice, but if I could do it all over again I would have either stayed with my stock fenders, or went with Sinister Fab front fenders(they just need paint, then install).

Sure, post em up.

I am a cheap ass, I think I talked myself into buying a plasma last night and building everything myself. There are some fairly simple ways of building non-high line fenders. I am not sure if I need high line, so pics would be kewl.

Your last jeep with high line fenders was cool.

Small lift with body clearance, 35-37's and good axles is the way to go.

That said I don't even listen to my own advice so banana shark

Ok then. First off let me say that from my own personal experience - I couldn't have pulled off factory fenders & that size tire and lift without pushing the front axle forward. I have all 8 adjustable arms - IIRC I pushed the front forward 1", rear 3/4". Also I have/had quite a bit of bumpstop.

Also I have to apologize, I dont have any pictures of it flexing with the front flares on, but hopefully this gives you an idea. Hockey puck on the bottom, like 1" extended bumps on top. Oh and I had cut 3/4" out of the Rubicon flares.

Here is how it sat normally..

Here are the Rokmen highlines. I have the hockey pucks removed, and could probably remove the extended bumps as well as I have a smidge of room to to work with.

And how it sits normally..

Hope that helps!

I also did the tank strapped in the back, it did bring the suck. Lost a ton of cargo area and the fuel pump whine was extremely annoying. I would recommend a fuel cell set in the floor behind the rear seat to keep as much room inside as possible. I had a kilby skid, but it got old landing and dragging it over rocks. If you do stock tank in the bed, I would enclose it and insulate it for noise...? Fuel in roll cage FTW!

Personally I need my backseat again so I made a custom fuel tank that sits under the seat and drops through the floor between the control arms. Keeps cargo area and seat and doesn't hang down under the back.

I made my own fuel cell based off the measurements of the RCI and sunk it in the floor. The bottom still sits up higher than the frame and I modified an Insta-Trunk for a TJ to fit over top of the tank. Rear seat fits without problems and pump noise is minimal.

See, I am different. I bought it for cheap, put in a cheap motor and trans, wheeled the shit out of it and could sell it for more than I have into it.
