Default Front/Rear Sway Bar Disconnect Offroad? Silver Lake

2.5" RC Lift Front Quick Disconnects

Next week me and a large group of friends will be traveling to the west side of the state to stay at silver lake for almost a week. I am excited cause I will get to try out my 8 month old lift a little better on the dunes, I took it mudding once but thats it. I have read mixed reviews about disconnecting front or rear sway bar links or both, and I wanted to get some opinions.

Currently the jeep is lifted 2.5" and the wheels are spaced out about 2". I was thinking about disconnecting the front sway bar links when I am there for more articulation and possibly the rear but am unsure, what do you guys think. What are the pros and cons? Should I stick with both attached? Or Just connect one or the other?

You don't really need, or even want articulation in the sand. It just allows the tire that loses traction to dig deeper. Leave them connected.

Leave them connected no reason to articulate in the dunes

If your quick disconnect are the pin through shaft variety I highly recommend getting some grade 8 bolts and replacing the pins with them. I can't count how many time my buddy has sheared off his pins on the dunes for his quick discos before he learned this trick. He drives a tj also.
