Was planning on a hummer or a trans am oil pan, I like Hummer bc it still keeps the 6 quart capacity or more. But its not as shallow as the trans am. Oils more important then pan depth! .

Any recommendations for cheaper headers? Or just keep the manifolds?

sended frum dis stoopid fone.

Whoot! Got my RuffStuff LS motor mounts today!!!.
Almost ready to send my computer and harness to "waynehartwig" over 9n pirate to do the harness work and re program the computer. Another short week and ill have enough $$$ to get it.

Getting a VSS and tone ring from a np241 to put on the output of the np205 so the computer can use it.
Having the emissions removed, the vats removed, keeping everything else. Asking for the highest hp tune he offers. Says its 80+ hp? Fingers crossed ill have as much or more power than I have now.

Keeping the stock oil pan until I can buy a kevko pan. Keeping the stock truck intake for torque.
Debating on spinning the intake so its on backwards to put the air cleaner in the cab of the jeep.
Also found out I have the 218 heads...which are a lower compression ratio, going to put the motor in and decide if I need the extra power.

Here's tye the motor mounts

Here's the pan I plan to get

Still trying to decide what to do for fuel. .LKQ?? Otherwise its gunna b a 400.00 bill for pump regulator lines etc..

Awesome build just got awesome.

I will be relying on you to do all the research and get that 6.0 in with all of the bugs worked out. I tried reading the thread on Pirate and my head was spinning from information overload.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks sled neck. ..
U local to me, I see a jetta with "slednecks" sticker on it all the time. If so, swing on in.

Feva: who did ur work? Thought about doing the harness myself, and having a local guy do computer work. But seems wayne has good reviews, jims performance is also supposed to be a good choice...whod u recommend. ..obviously u know SOMETHING. HAHAH

My harness was done by Jim's Performance. He pinned 2 things wrong but it was fine other than that. You can probably do your own harness, I was on a time crunch. I tune with HP tuners. People are happy with wayne but do you really think gm left 80 HP on the table on a 325hp engine? 20-30 with added timing and leaning it out, maybe.......my suggestion is to find someone to tune it in your rig on a dyno, TJ @ baker engineering maybe. Mail order tunes are like mail order shocks, if you want your moneys worth the person needs to work directly on the vehicle. Most people will spend $4000 on an engine swap and try to save $150 on getting their moneys worth out of said swap. My $.02.

Intake info. Basically, stick with whatever works with your accessories so the truck intake in this case.

Yep..planned on that, especially to keep some torque.
Pondering doing some port/polish work to the heads while its out.
BUT I think ill put it in, see if im un happy with the power, then change it.
Got my starter and intake set today, to spin er around.

Looked at 1.8 roller rockers, if they gave a little more power itd b worth the 300.00, but It seems with an ls, head work and camshaft are really the only way to go for more power..

Ready to go wheeling, bummed my next available date isnt till july 13th...rocks n valleys. .then the 10th again to watch bounty hill! Whoot.

Still need to get some seats. .but cant find anyone whos got em on the shelf to set in..hate to spend 300 bux on seats that suk.

Unless you know wtf you're doing, don't.

Forget you even seen them.

You always leave power and driveablity on the table with a mail order tune so why even look at performance stuff for 15-30 hp gains until you've done the first correctly?

I'll leave it alone now

Gave up selling my 1 racing seat, put it in the passenger side of tue the jeep. Wife will like it, now I need to find another even though im not sure I like them, I think I need to just get over it!

Nice n comfy without a big ol steering wheel in the way. .lol.
Maybe a detachable one or a smaller wheel? Whats the best idea?
I like the big ol bus wheel cause it makes it easy to steer.
Detachable. .I guess I could get uses to.
