Default transfer case ?

2.5 5 speed its a 231 case, are there different input spline counts? mine may be bad and need to investigate replacement before this one comes out

Yes the 2.5 has the 21 spline and the 4.0 is a 23 I believe

I have also seen a long and short version of one of those as well... I think it was the 21.

You has a 21 spline case. Most people have to throw them away because you are the only one in the last 5 yrs actually using a 21 spline t-case. What broke on your t-case? Just fix your t-case and quit being so fucking lazy

i think im going to get a new trans out of the deal too just tried to diagnose it for a bit and its definitely one of the two. but im leaning toward the trans now
