1985 Case 446 Tractor - NO LONGER FOR SALE

We moved to a larger farm and I need a bigger tractor. I have to sell my beloved 1985 Case 446. This tractor has been stripped down to the frame and cleaned, re-wired, engine rebuilt (18HP Onan), new carb, new Harley coil, new (very comfy) seat and misc. worn parts replaced. It comes with a steel 48" mower deck with new blades (no rips or chunks missing) and 38" single-stage snowblower. Hydracutter in picture not included.

Not for sale

Hydracutter SOLD

Tractor w/mower deck & snowblower reduced to $2800!

Last garden tractor you will ever need to buy! Sure, pay $2400 for a new Cub, Husqvarna or cheap Deere and it'll last 5 years ... MAYBE 10 if you baby it. This will go 25+ with the fresh rebuilt Onan, powder-coated steel frame & body, steel deck and hydraulic motor drive, NOT hydro slip-clutch crap!

The tractor is full hydro. It does not have the rear PTO valve or hitch other than the standard tow hitch.

Does the Hydrocutter, you are using with it have its own lifting mechanism then?

Approximate weight?

....sorry for all the questions. I'm looking for a small tractor for service in our home association for maintenance of the private road and adjointing ditches.

The Hydracutter has been sold as it requires the rear PTO port. It is also a tow-behind with it's own adjustable lifting setup. If I had the rear PTO, I would probably would have kept it just to brush hog with.

They say they weigh around 800 pounds and another 100 for the deck.

I'm going to keep it. Not giving it away and it is 5x the tractor my MTD/Cub Cadet is ... will be selling it instead this spring. Should be easier selling an $800 "throw away" tractor vs. a $2000 investment ...
