2003 Mustang GT Convertible 6200
craigslist text below-
I wanted 8500 but I lowered the price to 7800 because I hope to sell before I make another payment. I owe money on the car, I would have to get a cashier's check or meet you in Southfield at the lender to receive the title. I am open to offers, I would like to sell ASAP. Mostly selling to get out of the payments but also because I work at GM now...
The car is in excellent condition. There is a list below of all the very well done and quality modifications. Nothing is noticeably different in the car's appearance. I have some of the original parts. I have not raced the car but I expect it would run high 13s or quicker if you can drive well, I am not a drag racer. I only have the car for fun.
Has all options available, 106k miles, no carfax but I believe it is accident free, I would get it detailed to make it look like new (I will negotiate that in the price or I will get it done if it doesn't sell fast). Some of the mods came with the car when I got it and some I did in the last year. It's about 4000 dollars of performance parts.
BBK 78 mm upper intake/throttle body
K & N intake
New updated intake manifold (no 4.6L coolant leaks)
Steeda underdrive pulley set
Newer battery (about 2 years old)
BBK chrome long tube headers
Steeda exhaust and performance mufflers (sounds very good but not loud)
Front cross member chassis brace
Front to rear chassis stiffeners
Steeda short throw shifter
McLeod clutch (Street Pro- normal clutch material good for 350 hp and drives pretty close to normal)
Maximum Motorsports adjustable clutch cable- brand new
Edlebrock Performer IAS front struts
Ford Racing 1-2" lowering springs
Energy Suspension trans mount
Powerstop cross drilled front rotors- brand new
Hawk ceramic front brake pads- brand new
New Autozone ceramic rear brake pads
New Ford Racing front floor mats
New 255/45/17 Summitomo HTR-Z II tires (about 3k miles)
99% sure it has a 4.10 rear end but I never checked.
Includes convertible top cover for when the top is down. I have the original springs and front struts. It has the grille delete but I also have a regular grille.
There is some small paint chipping on the front bumper, the driver's door armrest area is loose and I think there are two barely noticeable dents on the car (you only see them if I show you)

I updated the craigslist ad.
It could use a Maximum Motorsports clutch cable to solve a stiff clutch pedal, one front rotor is heat cracked even though they are new, and the AC does not work.
I turned down 6000 cash. On craiglist I will take the first 7000 or here the first 6800
Less than that and I may as well drive it and trade it in later. The car drives great, do nothing to it and have fun.

I replaced the clutch cable and its great. Now asking 6800 on craigslist but I would take 6200 after putting on new Hawk ceramic pads, a new matching Powerstop rotor (other one only has a few thousand miles on it), a new serpentine belt, new idler pulley and the new clutch cable. I don't want to trade it in on something.... It would probably sell for more than 6200 next spring.
