I had the buggy in my shop for a few hrs Saturday trying to get the brakes going, I had a customer walk up and ask me how much of it was still a jeep .

Well it does have a EB grille, fenders, dash be it modified bit still OEM steel.

Fenders need to be trimmed different BTW

Its not tuned yet. I had to swap out the distributors. My motor and harness had the tfi mounted on the fender. So I had to swap distributors with your motor which also ment I had to swap gears as mine is a roller motor. And I never checked the timing. But even with not doing that it seemed to run well.

Only thing I don't like and I had the same issue with my other trans and harness/setup is that it doesn't have any power in 4hi or 2hi. Trying to drive obstacles it seems like it stalls the trans out. But I had the same complaint with my old setup. I guess the 5.38s and 4ds aren't a good match.

Ratio is real close to a 28" tire with 4.10's. In fact, my 4 cylinder TJ speedo gear is dead on with the 5.38 40" combo vs the stock 4 cylinder 4.10 225/75/15 per the gps.

Minus all the extra weight of the big tires, heavy axles, power robbing trans....

On paper its a good combo, but in the real world the c6, 205, 5:38's and 40's isn't ideal.
