isn't comparing a jump on a dirt bike with a truck kinda like comparing an apple with an orange?

I'm not taking anything away from a 200 ft jump on a dirtbike from lip to lander, that's pretty huge and I think we all know that.

I believe that.

Never measured any of the jumps I did on a dirtbike out there, I imagine they come no where close to the 100ft mark but I had a fawkin blast doing it.

200 ft is big

It was on the downhilll side of test hill, the problem was the wind pushed the nose of the truck up causing it to land on the tail. I am pretty sure it would have handled it better had it landed on the wheels instead of the tail.

I think the problem is he is claiming he is running a pro 2 truck when clearly it is not. It may have been one 20yrs ago but it's not now. In fact it's nothing more than scrap metal now. Which is good in my book, I found his jump and his nut swingers rather amusing. Oh, and thanks for clearing up the part about the wind, I thought it might have something to due with that but I want sure.

It's fitting that he owns a scrap metal recycling business

There were some good jumps that year. I measured out 160ft a group of us were jumping on the second ridge back from test hill. It went about 80ft from the lip then stepped up about another 8 and formed a nice table top with a gradual down slope. Like you said it was 5th gear wide open on a 450 with your distance limited by the wind more than anything. It was such a nice down slope it didn't really matter where you landed.
