Default does anyone know a good diesel mechanic in SE MI area

I have a 2003 cummins dodge that is for sale on here but I have my doubts about it selling, so I may need it fixed. I need someone competent enought to replace the rings in #6 and hone the cylinder. I read it can be done in frame but I dont have the time. Any suggestions would be apreciated. PM or text is cool to 1-517-403-5569

I checked with Mike in chelsea, he has a good rep and did nice work for my friend who hauls campers with a load of miles on a stroke. He quoted a full rebuild 6k, i really dont want to put that kind of money in it, I have seen on diesel forum where guys pull the head, lift motor up 3" drop pan and change the rings and hone. Kinda looking for the guy with the shop behind there house that has always been a diesel guy and does work on the side for cash. I not looking to get it done buy a $20 hr kid out of votec but dont want to pay $100 at a shop. someone has to have a buddy that is good and works for a reasonable cash rate.

As for Firehawks cummins run for ever comment....The 12 valves do run forever, I had an 04.5 and it needed injectors(2k), an 06 H.O. ran good but couldnt pass a fuel station and now an 03 that is good on fuel but the injector caused a motor problem. So motors good fuel system bad. I have had better luck with powerstrokes honestly but I wont take a 6.0 and cant find a clean 7.3.
