Speaking of tow mirrors, I had never really paid this much attention. Until I passed a white lifted crew cab ram with big tires, cut out fender flares, a huge smoke stack, towing a trailer about the size of a radio flyer wagon with the tow mirrors flipped out.

1. I doubt that he could even see the trailer behind his truck, even with mirrors.
2. I think if he would have gone any faster those big ass mirrors would have allowed his truck to take off into flight. Those suckers are huge all flipped out!

Yeah those mirrors suck to drive with flipped out....they get in the way of EVERYTHING. Even in the down position those things are huge. I loved the visibility but they seem to want to hit everything. The only time I drove with them flipped up(pulling a big camper that actually required it) they were obnoxious as hell.

I totally agree. I felt like a douche for driving a cummins. I even told the people I was with that it is almost time to sell it and get a gasser. I don't think I have ever seen that many invisible trailers in the dunes. Stacks on stacks.

the tow mirror thing reminds me of this thread i saw a few weeks ago..

http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/98...ors-out-6.html

this comment in particular

*Attitude.

If a pickup blows smoke, lifted more than 8", has tires that extends beyond the fenders with no mud flaps, bumpers off of a tank, etc., then it is almost mandatory to leave the mirrors out.*

Bro trucks and their owners are retards. I was sitting at a stop light with my ancient Ford crew cab dually loaded with 16k pounds of backhoe and trailer when a lifted to the sky V10 Ram pulled up next to me. I glanced over at the rig when it pulled up so the owner must have thought I wanted to race my 23k pound truck trailer combo. When the light turned green he took off like I had the slightest thought of racing him. Retards.

I see lack of tow mirrors...and it doesn't blow smoke, have stacks or have stickers all over it stating it is a cummins.
