Mine made AMC money, back in 86. Now it's all mine.

Jeeps are my bread and butter. Lifts, wheels/tires and knick nacks supply me with a paycheck.

My wife has one also , I just back it in the garage and use the lift we bought to take it off and leave it hanging from the rafters all summer long. We then pull the Jeep in front end first and drive right up under the top the rest of the time. It's a piece of cake about a 15 minute job, one of my best purchases IMO. I put cross bracing in the rafters also to support the weight though I probably didn't need to.

I do this as well, although if you are referring to swapping the hardtop for a softtop in 15 minutes, I think you are slightly underexaggerating.

Seriously though I believe the whole, "what they are built for", statement is something that lies in the eye of the beholder.
Lol you are correct.

"Use them for what they are capable of" is more accurate

I have been using them for what you guys are trying to be hard about for a long time but I have to say they are very capable at the mall too. Being that I have a vagina I am not ashamed that I know that so well. Being that mschaffer wants to be involved with my vagina I am sure he is not ashamed he knows it so well also.
PS the JKs are much better at the mall because you can buy more stuff since you have more room for bags.
