And this is why these tire reviews are about useless. Everyone has a different opinion on tires.
I jumped out out a freinds silverado with used up bfgs on it and into another freinds silverado with toyos on it.
Both 99 z71s, the only difference is the color. These trucks were even bought in the same week from berger when new.
The first thing I noticed was I had to put the truck with toyos in auto 4x4 to get the truck out of the driveway. It did fine on dry pavement but the toyos were totally useless on snow.
I actually got that truck stuck in 4" of wet snow with a empty car trailer on the back. I rocked it and did everything I could but had to unhook the trailer to get out. I hooked my pos all wheel drive explorer to the car trailer and drug out of the rutts like they were not even there. My exploder has bfgs on it also.

Lots of people love toyos, I have never been impressed.

I bought the AT3s about two weeks ago and so far I really like them. The ATRs I had sucked when wet out since they were new and these AT3s grip well. Even this morning I was able to drive to work in 2wd without spinning.

I bought the LT rated tires as well since 285s don't come in the P rating which is fine since I wanted a heavier tire anyway.

Ive sold a couple of sets of them to customers and everyone that i've talked to that has them says they love them... They're a pretty aggressive tread and look like they'd be in mild offroad situations. I've always had good luck with Coopers myself.
