To each their own, awesome fab skills, but could build a much more reliable, same or more hp for less.

the sound of a v12 is a thing of beauty lost on most open-header, small block aficionado's

I've always wanted a v-12 something. Like a v12 flathead from a Lincoln zypher, a GMC twin six or Detroit 12v71 or lastly a big Allison airplane engine. Keep it on a rolling stand with open headers and fire it up for when I need a quick laugh

Grandpa always had a V12 car or two in the garage. Usually in one of the packards, although he had a V12 lincoln, and a V16 cadillac also (also a pair of modern era SL600 mercs). The Deusy straight 8 DOHC 32 valve motors were my personal favorities, though.

This is missing the point of, well, the entire hot rod culture.

last semester in a strategic management course I got to meet the IT guy for: http://www.katechengines.com/

he's building up an old school camaro currently, but he had some fun stories (and videos on his laptop) of some of their engine builds.

they did the Cadillac V16 prototype a few years back referenced in this thread: http://ls1tech.com/forums/15428437-post33.html (Jason is not the guy I know)

anyway, the owner has an old tahoe with one of the v16's in it - the long snout/nose conversion on it is a dead giveaway it doesn't look like any of the videos of that thing running on the street are on youtube (at least from a quick look)

I wonder how shitty this thing is going to run. Good work, but I can imagine getting it to fire in a good sequence is going to be a pain in the ass.

Let me know when its running.
