Default Wtb: Sbc

Looking for a SBC long block setup (minus accessories) HEI/carb setup preferred. Would like to hear it run or drive the vehicle, can help pull it (and even bring cherry picker if need be) and will bring beer + cash. I'm in the royal oak area but open for a drive if need be. Anyone swapping out for a big block? or some 383 monster? Pref looking for 4 bolt main as well.

my email is fidelity101@gmail.com

I have a complete ready to run motor with everything on it minus a carb. It is removed and sitting on an engine stand so you wouldn't be able to hear it run. I will guarantee there are no issues with it though. It was professionally built by an engine shop in Flint and I had it in one of my Jeeps for a little bit. The Jeep was only ran for a couple trial rides and moving it around the garage so the motor is like new still. If you might be interested in some more info or pictures let me know.

Don't need a transmission. I can probably assemble one good motor out of my 2 bad ones.

nope, for the burb. rx7 engine overhaul on that should happen next month.

I'm cleaning and preping parts for that now, haven't even begun to port yet

hence why I dont want to rebuild a chevy tree fiddy, 2 engines at once would be pretty lame and $$$$.

I will get you some pics tomorrow. PM me your email address. Yeah we can definitely throw a carb on it and make it run if you want to hear it.

probably a bit of a drive for you, although I might be able to arrange delivery after memorial day.

I just pulled a good healthy small block out of a truck last weekend. I even advertised it as hear it before I pull, but I ended up selling the truck before the motor. I was told its been rebuilt, (I see new frost plugs, and other obvious signs) Its got a mild cam in it (size unknown) edelbrock intake/carb, complete from fan blade-flywheel, air cleaner to oil pan.

block casting 3970010. I pulled it from a 77 chevy truck

$500

That may work, what part of the up? Do you know if its 4 or 2 bolt mains? I dont need a flywheel or accsessories.

unshure if its a 2 bolt or 4bolt. I'm in the marquette area. but if someone was serious I'd entertain delivering it to the bridge.

My father in law was just asking about it this weekend so he's got first crack at it.

I have a 350 in my jeep right now that is hopefully going to be removed next week. Runs good I am just going bigger and better. I would take $500 for it complete minus the carb and accessory's as I need them for my next motor.
