Default CCW going on 6 months!

I realize most of you are in another state, and have different laws, but curious if it's taking a while to get your CCW's turned around? I turned mine in a little before Christmas, and I still don't have it.

I am going to have to see if I can call down to Indy and get some information. They thought about 12-14 weeks turn around time, but then again my county said they were doing 20-30 day themselves - and we have 92 counties...

Over and out.

I believe my dad's turnaround was a few months IIRC.

My CPL instructor told me the same thing. I haven't turned in anything at the county yet

I have had mine for a few years now but when I did it, the turn around time was just shy of 90 days. That's in Saginaw county MI.

Most get theirs in 90 to 120 days. Three of my clients took the class together during the first week of January and all got theirs the third and last weeks of April.

In my renewal class we were told there is some MI law that requires applications to get processed quickly. Maybe IN doesn't have this.

Wayne County claims it takes 3-4 months, actually ends up being about 5 weeks. Hey, just be glad you're not in New York. An old Air Force buddy of mine lives there, and he has been waiting over a year for a permit to BUY a handgun, and he said concealed carry is pretty much an impossibility there.

I turned my paperwork in like April 9th in macomb County. Hopefully it's less than 4 months. Open carrying while working in the hood sucks.

It was 2010. but I understand the turn around here is about the same now as then.
Clare County, not as many running through the system probably.

We either already have a CPL.......or cannot get one based on criminal record .....more of the latter I would guess.

Mine took 2 months to get the card in the mail box./Oakland county.
My son lives in up state New York, the waiting period varies/in each county, 3 month and 6 month waits are common. No ccw's in NYC.

My wife took her class in January, and turned her paperwork in by the end of the month. She went in front of the gun board the last week of April. So in Macomb county it's about three months.
