Default SOLD**2001 Dakota V8 quad cab **Sold

until today,May 2, this was a DD in very good overall condition.

Then along came a teenage bimbo talking on her cell phone.......
(I looked in the mirror, saw her coming)
I was stopped for traffic when she plowed into me(rear ended) @ about 30-40mph.
Just got home from the hospital and a CT scan.

I want to sell it whole and will hold out for a while before a partout.

won't know until I pick it up from the tow company yard, as to what shape it is in.........was leaking coolant , and I remember seeing the rear wheel well lip was sort of folded forward..........Please PM with any interest or offer.

Sucks to hear and I hope your ok and didn't spend too much time on that idler pulley you were replacing. Can't say I need anything off the truck but if you need a hand let me know.

The idler pully wasn't an issue at all.........ended up putting a new compressor in ........along with a lot of "as long as I am in there" stuff.

I am sore but no blood or injury that shows.........

Need to go to Tim's towing yard tomorrow to get it loaded on a trailer............wanna go?

Both prior to and after fotos here ^

damage was to both ends and kept low to the pavement pushing the bumpers down and in.......radiator lower support is pushed back and the lower radiator hose is cut but radiator itself appears un damaged.......oddly the air conditioning hasnt leaked out freon........... like I said, the force of impact was down low. The box hit the back of the cab and the right rear frame rail is bent where the hitch ties into it..........but it appears to be driveable if the front crossmember gets pulled forward to get the (still undamaged) radiator clear of the fan..........motor shut off immediately after I was hit and not restarted till today, when I could observe it.

The body doesn't look bad but that frame damage is an mf'er.

Going to see what Holland Frame has to say on Monday.
They are very reasonable and GOOD. If they can pull it.........I'll just keep driving it as a winter vehicle.
