Default Ammunition

Just to let everyone know, Bens Super Center in Brown City got a pretty good shipment of ammo in today. I picked up 3 boxes 9MM at $14.99 each and one box Hornaday 44 Mag hallow points, 20 for $19.99. They also have some 22 LR stingers at $7.00 for I think 50. I believe they also have .38's and .45's. Give them a call 810-346-2835 to be sure.

I wouldn't thank you at all for this. This is the reason why there is a shortage. Any time someone gets a shipment in, someone spreads the word to all their hoarder friends and they all runs in and buy as much as they can.

I would argue against your statement. I saw the same ignorant statement on MGO. These types of posts are helpful for those of us who don't have all the time/energy in the world to run all over town trying to get the ammo we need.

Hoarders just go to as many stores as possible and buy ANYTHING. While this may help a few hoarders, it helps at least as many people who legitimately need ammo. It's also helpful to get a feel for the flow of ammo - which seems to be increasing in the last week...

However, this ammo is nowhere close to me, so it didn't help one bit.

TL;DR: Hoarders would hoard anyway. This helps as many legit ammo seekers as it does hoarders. Shut your whore mouth.

You forgot the part where they all put it on Gun Broker the next day for $175 a box.

I just paid almost double for my preferred flavor of .40, doing my part to feed the price markups and keep the bitchfest alive.

Now im gonna have to disagree with your statements. Yes these types of posts are helpful to the people who want to purchase ammo. The part of your statement i disagree with is about the hoarders. Hoarders existed before the shootings. Supply was high and demand seemed low, now the supply is low and demand is high. Why? seems to me that people are hoarding becuase of a scare.

I shoot .22 LR and 12 gauge. i can only go out skeet shooting now. cant find any .22 ammo that someone doenst want an outragious amount for a 525ct box of hollow points, and im not going to waste my life searching and searching for something like ammo.

It's not like the shit is gasoline or motor oil that you can't create yourself. Bitch all you want but if you want to play you will have to pay. Or just man up and make your own shit.

Unfortunately, my gun is more useful for potential survival than it is a hobby.

"Shootings" have nothing to do with it. Overreaching and law breaking government officials and politicians, along with media have everything to do with it.

so your an end of the world survivalist? i assume to use your gun all year long to feed your family? live in a bad neighborhood? maybe your a law enforcer? i dont understand potential survival. so your saying you are waiting for something to happen so you can shoot someone or something to defend yourself? why do you need 10,000 rounds stored in a safe to protect yourself? if you can make it yourself so easy, why do hoarders need to buy every box on the shelf and sell it for a 300% profit and make it hard for the hobby shooters to buy ammo to have a good time. unfortunately i am a hobby shooter and just like to go out and have a good time.

I'm not sure I understand your point or where it differs from mine. Your statement seems to just be ramblings. Sure, hoarders have always existed. My definition of hoarders in this respect is inclusive of pre-shortage hoarders, during-shortage hoarders, and opportunists selling at well over retail.

My TL;DR says it all. Hoarders will hoard regardless of whether you post. This helps the honest people who don't have all day to drive around searching for ammo.

when contemplating the 2 main purposes for my firearm it is more likely to serve its purpose as keeping me alive than it does as a hobby. You know, like if some idiot walks in my house at 3am or you try and harm my family. Why did you mention the world ending?

your post said potential survival. i can interprate that in different ways. i respect your right to protect yourself. but if say you buy 5000 rounds of ammo and dont let the honest people buy, then how do honest shooters protect themselfs or shoot to sharpen skills if they cant find ammo to buy. other then maning up and making their own shit. didnt' know it was possibly to reload rimfire .22 LR
