Next to a beaver pond there was a small spike skull also. I think coyotes might have dragged them there. I know there Is a den close by

Finding a skull by water makes me wonder if it was EHD. I know by my area we got hit hard with it.

i found this in Osceola county. i dont think there was any confirmed EHD around. i think it was yotes because they have a den about 150 yards away.

I've found a few in Osceola county over the last few years, before the EHD broke out. Deer are not stupid, when they're injured they understand that water is their friend and tend to go there.

yote seem to be pretty bad around here. i know some ppl that are having a problem with a pack of 6 that keep harassing their mini horse. there isnt much pressure on them. i watch one take a buddies cat right off the porch. Cat was there meowing and just see a streak go by the glass door. no more kitty. Watched it run off into the woods
