I hooked into a 15.75" and 10" brown, a large mouth, and some smaller brooks and browns. Click image for larger version

Never fished that river. I'm going to be fishing a small local river. Just got a fly rod going to try and teach myself how to use it while I wait for my new spinning rod and reel to come in. Blew the drag on my other current reel on that bigger brown. It's works on and off now.

Stop by BBT and talk to the guys there. They will be glad to give you some tips on how to cast the fly rod. They are a great shop, and know there stuff.
Get on Youtube, and watch a few casting videos.
Go out in the yard and practice when you have a few minutes. Every bit helps.
Good Luck this season.
