doing ab exercises will not burn the fat off your mid section.

This is the part i was referring to when I said you don't just pick a spot and start taking the fat off it.

Instead of telling you that you can work your abs with supermans, planks, plank push ups, burpees, sit ups, toes to bars, leg lifts, sit ups, box jumps, floor wipers, turkish get ups, running, wall balls, slam balls, and eating your neighbors balls, all with relatively little equipment and no more space than is necessary to do a push up....I''l just repeat my original point.

It's obvious you don't even really want the help, so why waste time explaining to you that you can not burn fat from a certain part of your body, why explain to you that your body burns fat starting at the fingers and toes and slowly working its way to the middle of your body, why waste the time explaining that you need to work all muscle groups equally to build muscle and burn fat, why try explaining to you that your diet probably sucks complete ass, why try explaining to you that you need to do cardio and weight training and watch what you eat and blah blah blah......

Okay, thanks for the suggestions, I'm sure I can do every one of those in the limited space I have available which precludes even pushups, if not, I'll die trying.

I am pretty sure most of those exercises can be done outside too.

Plenty of room there.

I'm trying to find something I can do during my break at work in my cube, hence the limited space.

You should just get naked and dance on your desk.

I prefer to nap under my desk, the stretching I do after I wake up is plenty of exercise.

Last time I did that I got a few comments from passerbys. Not all of them were good.

I used to work with a guy that did that, he piled up some boxes next to his desk so no one could see him.

Decided i didn't want to die, or lose a foot, So made huge changes.

This morning was at 285#
I'm eating between 1200-1600 calories a day (diet i'm following allows me 2300 currently).
Doing 30 -55 minutes on the elliptical every morning and mixing in ab strengthening and upper/lower body targeted work outs every other day.

obviously 0- very minute sugar, staying low carb, drinking tons of water has worked for me so far.
Just really added exercise into the routine starting in April, the bulk of that weight lost was all diet.

So if my fat Ass who never thought it could be under 300 already is, anyone can.
Current Goal is 240#, I'll see if i still feel all fatassey at that weight and keep going for more.

Ok, off to go for a bike ride

Weighed in at 255 this morning, down from my starting weight of 283.

Hoping to have 30lbs under my belt by Saturday. We'll see.

I havent been around in quite a while. I was 286 6 months ago and now at 252. my wife put me on a gluten free diet, I cant do it without some cheating though.I was not 120 when I graduated from high school a ton of years ago. I had a 28 inch waist when graduated basic training. within 4 years I was up to 175 All muscle though. tough training.
