I have a 2009 5.3L (displacement on demand) short block with 862 casting heads for sale.
The engine had the timing chain tensioner fail and the valves touched the pistons. Valves were bent, that is the reason for the head swap. The heads are a brand new set of 862 castings (never been run, just sitting on long block right now). This is a aluminium block package. There are witness marks on the pistons from the valve contact, but nothing that I am concerned over with a little dress up to remove any high spots or sharp edges.
The plan was to install a intake, new timing chaing components and enjoy. I have the oil pan, harness (no ecm) coils,flexplate and water pump for this as well. It will need: Intake, ecm, and accesories to be completed
