I hit that phase at about 29. It is peaceful and almost nothing keeps me angry. Don't get me wrong I know there is a time and place as needed to unleash all out destruction

Agreed that there is a time and a place but all the time and every place is too exhausting to keep up with. Just not worth it.

If your employer makes you sign a handbook saying you won't possess a firearm while under employment, does signing mean that you voluntarily forfit your 2nd amendment rights?

That's not how it reads, although I believe that's how it was intended. HR says it's not going to be changed...

Legally they can't dictate whether an employee owns firearms. They can say that you can't have them while working or on company property but no company on American soil can strip any American citizen of their rights guaranteed by the Constitution.

So if the contract is signed and then you are fired because of owning and operating firearms on free time off company property, then you have legal grounds to sue for violation of constitutional rights? GL4x4 legal advice

There may be a precedence in some of the 'no smoking' rules employers have used in the past...

The Constitution doesn't say anything about smoking.

It does mention the right to bear arms though.

They are not taking away your right to bear arms.

They are taking away the privilege of their employment if you bear arms.

I asked my wife who is a lawyer. She's says it is unequivocally a constitutional violation, and a void of said contract.

If it's not limited to company grounds and extends to private life/property then, yes. Yes it does.
