Here is a crappy pic for you "bob"
I used a stock cj7 pitman arm which is only about 1/2" shorter then a Waggy one
I did this because I was worried about the TRE hitting the tie rod at stuff
I also used 1ton TREs and inserts from roughstuff and schedule 80 pipe for the links
It turned out real nice

Well 650 miles later the jeep is still together but not without some minor injuries
It was a bad weekend for any kind of glass
I popped out the rear glass on the intermediate course at the blessing

I also broke the plexi glass window in the door

And also some fiberglass damage to the body

I also polished up the front drive shaft and popped the seal off the slip on chadville
But over all I was very impressed with how the jeep worked at both the blessing and twisted trails

Looks good kyle, Did you get that done before you went on your trip? How did it handle on the road. Maybe I should post a few pics of my build. All I can say is WOW, I wish it was saturday already

It handled prety good the tire vibration was the biggest problem
I had an intense vibration over 65 so we added 10oz of air soft bbs to each tire and it worked awesome on the way up but it came and went for the rest of the weekend after that

Saw your jeep at the blessing, looked great in person. Saw you in Chadville and it looked like it did really well!

Default Project "YJ-8 Wrambler"

So after doing this at twisted trails

So some body protection was in order

It was put to the test at rocks and valleys the other weekend too and did well

Well wheeled prety hard at the club event and towards the end of the day it died on me and seemed to be out of gas with some help we got it going again
On the way home I stopped to get gas and it only took 8 gallons
Limped it home, it wouldn't hardly go over 35
Troubleshooted and it seemed to point to the fuel pump, the pump would run and I had some gas flow but no pressure
Pulled the tank and found this...

The rubber line between the pump and steel line in the tank
So a bunch of time and worry into a $2 fix
