Default Rear SOA with 6" stretch shock mounts...

Lets see what you got.

I took my rears off to measure for droop/compression thinking my shocks were to short causing my flex to be lmited. Well they are fine, but the mounts cause a binding that I need to fix.

I was going to put a bar across the frame to use as a shock mount to mount the shocks----> /-----\ like that. However, the body mount support runs rite over the axle. Do I still need that there if I have my cage tied to the frame???

My rear shocks are inside and mounted to a price of tube welded in between the frame rails

You can see it here if you look closely
The shocks are not mounted to the axle in this picture either

I scraped the idea of running a single seat in the rear... just not enough room with the fuel cell to be comfortable.

I'll have to build a cross member. Problem is my body mounts are in the way since I moved the axle back. I need to run long shocks as well to get all the flex. I'll have to spend some time figuring it out when its nice out

I have a rear seat and fuel cell in the back, just have to put the cell all the way back. I can get you pics if you want.

My issue is i'm 6'4" so I have my seat pushed very far back to be comfortable. Also, I run a bar across the B pillar for harness mounts for the front. But yes please post up some pics!

This is what I did. I have a yj SOA with xj springs flipped for a 6" stretch.
These are 14" shocks.

I may do that. Wasn't sure how it would affect the frame though.....

I did it last winter and I have beat on it a few time with no issues. The plates are 1/4" and I put gussets it on a 45. I also added a piece of tube from the rollbar down to the frame.

I just tied my rear cage in... so I guess that would really stiffen it up in the rear since the cage is now tied in at 6 places.

Do you have any more pics? Such as how you connected it to the axle? What spring mounts are those? I thought F250, but they look different than what are on my front.
