Default cherokee door pins sagging

i am looking for some replacement door pins to fix my sagging front doors on the 89xj. i dont see anyware to order them from so are they not replaceable? shound i hit junk yard and just get new hinges on door side? my doors have alot of play in them( i can lift up about 1/4 to 3/8"). been that way since i got jeep but finally want to do something about it.

i see the mod to make them removable but i dont really plan on running without them just want the doors to get off the door sill. thanks guys

My 98 zj has a non clip hinge pin and I picked up "help" part that replaces it with a clip a style. Hope that helps!

They used roll pins. Universal. But just drill out to like 3/16" and add a bolt.
And check to make sure its not the hinge itself on the body. They have a known issue of the weld tearing, so you have to reweld it and sometimes needing to add a plate behind the hinge.

We used 3/16 bolts when we did my 91... Try to pound the roll pins out, they are hardened and will eat drill bits, unless you have a carbide cutter or something

Secure it if not wanting to remove doors at all. But be cool in summer, so may want to leave option there since your already messing with it.

well when i went to pick up the socket cap screws at lunch they gave me 10/24 machine screws and said that it measures 3/16 so if that is true then i should be good to go and have nice closing doors again for only $12

Sorry yes 5/16" been a while but just pulled couple 2dr xj doors and notice size, 3/16 is small for removing roll pins.

my bad also, you have to drill the hinges out to accept 5/16 bolts, they are just 1/4" roll pins that are in the hinges right now, they just press out, its a real pain in the ass. you can drill them but they are hardened and you'll go through a few drill bits.
