Default Jeep YJ

I have a extended length YJ frame, title and vin plates. $100. I had cut the frame just in front of the rear riser, and welded in a piece to make it the length of a Unlimited TJ.

I don't believe he wants the title, so $50 the title and $50 for frame will work for me.

There are a few spots that I have cut out and not replaced. Not as bad rust issues as most YJ's. Don't know if it's for a 4 or 6.

Can you find out what engine was in it? May be interested if it was one of the 6 cylinders.

Just out of curiosity, was there any difference between frames? The only thing I can think of that would be different is the motor mounts.

As far as I know, the only difference between frames is the location of the motor mounts. I put a '91 4 cylinder frame under my '92 6 cylinder.

You are correct, the only difference between the frames is where the motor mounts are placed. 4.0 only works on a 4.0 frame unless you cut the mounts off and re-weld them.

4.2 mounts are also mounted in the same spot as the 4.0's mounts.
