Default Lowered 1997 s10 project!!!!!!!good 350 swap candidate!!!!!!

I have a 1997 s10 reg cab 2.2l 5 speed manual trans that I bought about a month ago with plans to work on and fix up a little bit for a DD. since I have bought the truck though it has just sat and I don't have the time to really work on it so I figured I would post it up here and see if anyone is interested. The truck has some rust and dents and is missing the rear bumper. Also the engine has a knock. It sounds to be rod bearings to me. I'm asking $800. I just want out what I have into it. The truck does have a lowering kit on it and sits prett low. If it is just rod bearings they are $12. Like I said I just don't have the time right now I have too many other projects going on to worry about it. If I don't sell it I'll get to it eventually so don't call and offer a low ball offer I'm not interested.

I might consider a trade but only for bobber motorcycle

Did the truck continue to run with this rod knock? because if so thats not just a $12 fix thats just for the bearing. You would have to replace the crank or the least get it resurfaced..

That's why I stated it could be a $12 fix. I am unsure how long the motor was run once the knock started. But yes if the motor was ran with the knock then most likely the crank will need to be reground and then thicker bearings put in.
