So some stuff came in, junction box, leaf hangers, and the RV plug for the trailer. I started to play around with the axle placement. Im leaning towards a 55 - 45% split since I plan on hauling doubles some of the time..

Also cut my staircase off to make room for the tires, saved for future use

Spent way to long trying to mount the shocks last weekend. Im happy with it...i think, ended up with about 4.75" of uptravel and 9.25" down which should work good for my flat 52's up front.

Very tight on the drivers side, had to grind a little out of the firewall

Picked up my new rear shaft this week as well, 1350 cv .134 wall tube

Here's whats left of my ford shock towers for the rear It looks like i'm gonna be able to run 14" shocks non-inboarded. They are notched to sit on the frame and angle towards the axle. One bolt is through the frame and the other is through the cross member inside the frame. Got the lower mounts wrapped up tonight looks like its gonna work but again is really close, wound up with 5.5" on shaft showing on the rear..

Tongue box

Since your already having a shity day whats crawling under your iced over, coated in mud trailer gona harm you?

Although I like the low buck, out of the sun/way/thieving eyes, and simplicity this style has to offer.

And that's not even half of the cool stuff hiding in that thread.

Another good thread

have you considered making the axle adjustable? i know some trailers that carry a lot of weight have that feature.

though, idk what it would cost. im probably just making more work. lol.

No I haven't actually, I did leave the front two old hangers which if I slid my rear axle into that position would put me somewhere around 60/40 (using the new hangers for the equalizer and front axle). As it sits I kinda split the difference between the ideal position for hauling one rig and two ~53/47 or so....was that what you meant?

maybe its more of a big rig thing... but the axles physically slide forward and aft.
