I have flanges, that's not a problem. I'll check when I get home to see how much tube I have.

Good deal jason.

On another note I forgot to add the rims I will be running. Many may hate them but I think the old school hub cap wheels with bigger tires look tits. I know I'm not your average 21 year old lol, I like old school.

These aren't them but will look just like them but with the chevy caps and wheels painted white. Gonna be bitchin!!!!

Cycled the springs to get drive shaft measurements. And clearance the double cardan stops.

Wood block to make up for the springs I took out of the pack minus main leaf

Full bump

Full droop

Putting packs back together

Ready to go back in

Springs back in

How is there such a long ass build thread for this archaic junk ass jeep wanna be thinger that is leaf sprung by a newb? It should go "New shocks, two new springs, shackle flip, done. Oh by the way, I think hub caps are kewl end quote.

Ya ok please don't crowd my build thread with your rude opinions. And I hate jeeps and my blazer will never be a "jeep wanna be". And please show me your 12" of travel leaf sprung rig and how well everything works together by just slapping springs on and running it without clearancing by spring cycling.

This is the right way to do it, if you don't like it, don't watch

glad your still at it, I have had nothing but problems with mine, I put the drop shackle in and have had about 3 different leaf packs in.. one to low, other way to high and the last is still a bit high in the rear, but going to live with it..

Yours doesn't look too bad either.

Reading this thread kinda makes me want to change my mind about parting mine out... If only I could find a cheap rust free tub...
