drooling on the underneath with skid plate idea. Detachable at the receiver would be even more practical though.

The only thing I disliked about mine when it was on the receiver was bashing the mount coming off ledges or dragging it at the start of a steep hill.

Mount it underneath and get another one for the YJ. Stolen winches are cheap off Craigslist

I know I will probably end up changing it, but I want to at least try it.

I'd actually be surprised if it were stolen. It was an older guy that said he bought it for his Kubota, we did the deal at his house and he was obviously not hurting for money.

You could always put a receiver upright in the bed by the tailgate to store it. No tailgate and too much crap to work around so I passed on that idea.

I actually thought about just bolting it down in the bed since I have the diamond plate floor, I could tie it to the frame... but I figure I will want to re-install my backseat eventually.

I couldn't afford yours lol. It would get finished quicker if work would calm down. That and my trailer hunt was out of the way anyway.

No sitting with two flat tires in my garage. Had to do a few other projects but hope to get some done this week

I shouldn't have bought my trailer... I should have just bought your jeep and trailer. You have to dangle it in front of me.... I wish I had a barn

On another note, we got the radiator mounts in, we just have do do some tweaking as the lower part of the radiator tank is damn close to the fan.

Getting there bit by bit! Looks good. Get it done by July for the dune run.

When is that? If nothing else we could take the H3, though I would NEVER get the sand out.

I don't think the TSL's would do well at the dunes, especially with the bead leaks.

Hopefully it will be done soon, I'd like to try out the new 4 speed at R&V. Work should be starting to slow down for a bit.

I've got extra sets of wider tires in the 32 range you can use at the dunes. Some 41.5's too if you're feeling really ambitious : sonicjay:

Fixed the radiator and put on the lower hose, doof bought to big of the upper one. Steering column and shaft will be done here shortly waiting for paint to dry.

To finish;
Install OD
Make driveshafts (rear just needs welded)
Bend trucker shifter down
Finish cleaning up old wiring
Figure out battery and hook up

Got it all together aside from the battery relocation, and I have no clutch. Put it in gear and it will go like hell, but push in the clutch and it doesn't stop!

Adam and I have more work to do.
