Personally I'm not a big fan continuous warfare. I hope you're planning on having plenty of children to send off to die in war.

Do you blow him away if it's a kid with dull butter knife?

I used a toolbox to knock out a kid with a razor knife.... about a half second after he broke it off in my thumb.... still got the scar.

I have two and will have no more. Why bother with continuous warefare though? When I say smash them, wipe them off the map. Then make it the 51st state of the USA and impose the same taxes.

Totally different situation. I don't want to see either of our children dying in a war with China over this.

Depends on the age of the kid.

If you honestly think in a situation like that you'll be able to sit there and assess the type of knife and how dull or sharp it is, you're gravely mistaken.

So if someone that you feel threatened by starts to pull something out that you think looks like it might be something that he could hurt you with you're going to pull your gun and blow him away? I'll have to keep your itchy trigger finger in mind next time we meet.

You pull any type of knife on me, (butter, steak, butcher, pocket or hunting) I'm inclined to prepare to defend myself. I also don't care if it's a young kid or older adult. A threat with a weapon is a threat with a weapon.

Preparing to defend yourself is fine ( and is what our country should be doing), but do you pull the trigger before you know if the threat is real?

If another adult makes a threat, then points something that looks like a gun at me or somebody i care about, he is going to receive. We can hash out the particulars later on whether his gun was loaded or even real.
