Default 98 chevy add a leaf or towing bags?

I have a 98 chevy 1500 and i just raised the torsion bars alittle and got it re aligned, now my front end sits about 1-1.5" taller which that is what i wanted because my next plan is to do add a leaf or bags in the rear...what is some peoples experience with add a leaf or the towing bags? Im just up in the air on which to do. I haul my boat alot in the summer and my trailer with gator on it quite a bit. I want to do this the right/best way just want to do it cheap as possible since i am about to buy a car for gas millage. Thanks for everyones input.

Hellwig spring helpers helped my 1/2 ton suburban out lots.. Around 250 through summit. They can be adjusted and are progressive in load bearing situations...
