Hmm, well if I (or anyone) took that view, whats the point in doing anything ever? I just put 100 percent into my relationship with the intention it will last forever.

I'm seriously curious about your thinking on this. Is there a proper waiting period in your opinion as to when I should attempt to fully include the people I love into my life?

You sound just like every guy I have ever met who just got dumped by his wife. Way too anctious to jump into the next relationship only to be steamrolled and left in even worse shape.

I would get out of wheeling and buy a pontoon boat.

Thanks for the positive support :D

I was not "just dumped" though. It was over six months ago. I pulled on my big boy pants and moved on.
I was actually quite enjoying the single life, dated a few girls, had some fun. I totally did not expect for this all to happen. I've actually known the girlfriend almost 20 years and have been friends and traveled in the same circles. She came to a party at my place a few months ago and we hit it off immediately. You really don't know the situation, it was so close to home, being we had so many mutual friends and such, some of them are even on here, that we hid it for near a month to them all till we were sure this wasn't some fling. Neither of us want to move in with eachother and neither of us have any interest in getting remarried anytime soon, if ever. We just spend our free time together and are having a great go of it. This is honestly the most relaxing, normal, healthy relationship I've ever been in.

I would be willing to bet you could slap a third row in a scout 2, and make a small pocket for feet in front of the gas tank. Even better if you found a travel all. Not as bulky as a suburban, but still big enough.

Two big guys are very comfy in the oe second row. I would have to imagine three kids (especially skinnier ones) could fit there.

Could also bench seat the front of desired.

My $.02... the fsj is a good bet.

I hadn't realized you have been divorced for so long. Nevermind, you have obviously thought this through.

Why does everyone keep saying a third row? That means 3 people per row, shoulder to shoulder while bouncing around and still trying to have room for gear. Sounds like an absolute terrible time to me.

If you want it to be fun............. make it fun.

The dream was broken
Seemed like all was lost
What would be the future
Could you pay the cost
You wonder,
Will there ever be
a second time around?
Woah-a, woah-a
When the tears are over
And the moment has come
Say "My lord,
I think I found someone"
And no one would be better
To be putting it together
For the second time around

We got the woman and man
We got the kids in a clan
Only time will tell
If all these dreams fit under one umbrella

Step by step
Day by day
A fresh start over
A different hand to play
The deeper we fall
The stronger we stay
And we'll be better
The second time around

Step by step
Day by day
{Day by day}
A fresh start over
A different hand to play
Only time will tell
But you know what they say
We'll make it better
The second time around
